Executive Coaching & Mentoring: How I Work
Stepping into a major leadership role, or carrying one through a period of significant change, is among the most demanding experiences in an executive career. The expectations are high, the stakes are real, and the space for honest reflection is rarely built in. My coaching practice is designed to create that space.
I am an accredited executive coach with extensive experience in senior leadership across multiple sectors and geographies. I have led organisations through transformation, worked at board level through complexity and crisis, and held the roles my clients now occupy. I coach from lived experience rather than theory and understand from the inside the pressures and judgement required of senior leaders.
My engagements typically support leaders stepping into a new C-suite or senior executive role; navigating a significant transition or organisational challenge; strengthening their presence and influence at board level; managing complex team or stakeholder dynamics; or preparing for an important career decision. I also work with leaders operating at sustained intensity who value a trusted, experienced thinking partner. The work is confidential, unhurried and tailored, shaped around the realities of senior leadership rather than a predefined program.
My approach rests on a simple belief: most leaders already possess the insight they need. The work is creating the conditions for that insight to surface and then building the clarity and conviction to act on it. I ask direct questions and offer honest observations, drawing on experience when it helps. What I do not offer is a formula.
I work with a limited number of clients so the work remains deep, considered and fully supported. If you are considering whether this might be the right form of support, I would welcome an initial conversation.
